Introduction

The goal of this workshop intends to provide a bridge/forum for mathematicians and experts in fluid mechanics , especially in ocean waves this time . One could do experiments in laboratories but the cost is huge. To save costs , one could apply mathematical models to run simulations on computers. Then one could do verification and validation. This kind of approach has been successfully applied to estimate the effect of Japan Tsunami on March 11, 2011 to Taiwan.
