Chou, Wun-Seng

photo Wun-Seng Chou received his B.S. and M.S. from the Department of Mathematics, Fu-Jen Catholic University. After his military service, he taught in college level for 6 years. He went to the United States in 1984. He studied in the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale for 2 years and then transferred to the Pennsylvania State University. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics from the PSU in 1990. Since then, he joined the Institute of Mathematica, Academia Sinica as an Research Fellow. His major research interest is the finite field theory and its applications.
