Workshop on “Complex Hyperbolicity, Function Fields and Non-Archimedean Arithmetic”
June 8 – 12, 2026
Institute of Mathematics, Academia Sinica, Taipei
AIM AND SCOPE
This workshop constitutes the first part of the joint program with Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM): International Workshop and Conference “Complex Hyperbolicity, Function Fields and Non-Archimedean Arithmetic”. It aims to bring together researchers and graduate students working in complex and algebraic hyperbolicity, Diophantine geometry, and related arithmetic problems. Its goal is to foster the exchange of ideas and to explore recent developments in these areas. The program will emphasize intensive discussion sessions in a collaborative environment, with the objective of stimulating new insights and advancing ongoing research.
