Title: A Revisit of the Velocity Averaging Lemma: On the Regularity of Stationary Boltzmann Equation in a Bounded Convex Domain

Abstract: We consider stationary linearized Boltzmann equations with hard sphere, cutoff hard, and cutoff Maxwellian potentials in a bounded convex domain of positive Gaussian curvature with incoming boundary data. We adopt velocity averaging lemma and establish regularity in fractional Sobolev space in space variable up to order 1-. In addition to the technique of velocity averaging lemma, our analysis depends heavily on the geometric properties. This is a joint work with Ping-Han Chuang, Chun-Hsiung Hsia, and Jhe-Kuan Su.
