| Abstract | In this lecture note, we give a brief introduction to the classic Morse theory, the Morse homology theory and the Maslov-type index theory and its iteration theory. It based on some lectures in the seminar of dynamical systems in Institute of Mathematics, Academia Sinica, Taipei.
