Affine and cyclotomic Schur categories

  • Abstract : Various important algebras relevant to categorification admit diagrammatic presentations. In this talk, we give new diagrammatic presentations for W-Schur algebras arising from type A finite W-algebras and cyclotomic Schur algebras. To that end, we shall introduce new monoidal categories called affine web and affine Schur categories. We also give integral bases for these categories and their cyclotomic quotients. Joint work with Linliang Song (Tongji University).
