Diophantine analysis

Abstract : General Diophantine equations are undecidable (Hilbert's 10th problem). However, many special classes of Diophantine equations remain open and interesting. I will discuss some results and progress in this direction, such as for cubic equations or non-abelian equations, where a variety of methods from algebra, analysis, and geometry play a role.
