演講者簡介 : Professor Horng-Tzer Yau graduated from the Department of Mathematics at National Taiwan University. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus Award by National Taiwan University in 2014.
He is a pioneer in the fields of Mathematical Physics, Analysis, and Probability, and is recognized as one of the most influential mathematicians, having greatly impacted research in Probability Theory, Random Processes, Random Matrices, Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics, and Quantum Mechanics.
Professor Yau has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Henri Poincaré Prize and the MacArthur Fellowship. He is also a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences, as well as an academician of Academia Sinica.
