Boundary value problems of advection equations and its regularized problems

  • Abstract : In this talk, we will consider boundary value problems for stationary advection equations and regularized elliptic problems that approximate them, which are obtained by adding Laplacian with a small parameter to the original equation. We will introduce convergence estimates for the solutions to the regularized problems as the parameter tends to 0 and show some numerical examples. This talk is based on a joint work with Prof. Daisuke Kawagoe.
