  • Abstract : In this talk, we aim to establish the existence of entropy solutions for an inverse problem involving three-dimensional axisymmetric supersonic potential flows past a cone with a relatively large vertex angle. The problem prescribes the incoming flow conditions and the surface pressure distribution on the cone, requiring the determination of both the generating curve of the cone and the surrounding flow field. A modified Glimm scheme is employed to solve the inverse problem, with further analysis of the asymptotic behavior of the entropy solutions, the generating curve, and the associated leading shock.
