Seminar on Char(LG): representations of p-adic groups

  • Abstract : In this talk, I will give a brief overview of supercuspidal representations of p-adic reductive groups, which are sometimes referred to as "building blocks" of the representation theory of p-adic reductive groups. In particular, I will sketch an explicit construction of a large class of supercuspidal representations established by Adler and Yu.
