On the Webster curvature prescription problem in dimension three

Abstract : The problem of the prescription of Webster scalar curvature for CR manifolds has been faced through many techniques, showing similarities as well as differences and new challenges with respect to the analogous scalar curvature prescription problem for Riemannian manifolds.
In this seminar, after having introduced the problem, I will show how a recent classification result in the three-dimensional Heisenberg group allows to perform a blow-up analysis through which the Leray-Schauder degree of the set of solutions can be computed, giving as a corollary an existence result.
