- Abstract :
Through Yu's construction, the class of depth-zero supercuspidal representations plays an important role in representation theory of p-adic reductive groups. In this talk, I describe an idea for parameterizing them with L-parameters, and give an application for some simple adjoint groups. This parameterization should be a part of the local Langlands correspondence, as it satisfies the Hiraga--Ichino--Ikeda conjecture on the formal degree.
If time permits, I will comment on a generalization of this result for more general settings.
